This is America

Truth be told, I don't really like this artwork of mine because I kind of rushed it. I feel like I could done much better with shading and the details. Although I don't like it a lot, I feel like it shows a bit of myself.

Cartoon Character

Creating my own cartoon character was fun. Since I liked samurai and Japanese cultures, I created a cartoon that will look cool and awesome. I twisted the theme because I wanted to change up my style serene to chaos.

Mixed Media Callage

It was very fun creating this artwork. I had fun experimenting on different media and trying to blend everything together to create a landscape. Although there are some part that could blend in better, I like the originality it shows.

My Version of Napoleon Crossing the Alps

For this very particular project given by my at teacher, I was task with to recreate a famous portrait painting and put my head in the painting. There wasn't any particular reason that I chose Napoleon Crossing the Alps, it just so happened to because of an accident and I just follow along what I was working on before. It was very fun painting this artwork because I was experimenting new painting technique. It was challenging to recreate the same colors so I changed a lot of the setting and colors.

Autumn's Light

Looking at this artwork, I think I have improve a lot from the beginning of this year. During the free time I had after completing Twilight Enchantment, I work on this acrylic painting and it turn out satisfying. Although I am not nearly good as I want to be, I feel like this artwork let me know that I am getting closer a little bit.

Magical Book

What I had imagined in my mind was to have a magical book and mythical creatures coming out of it.
Simply put, I like the book, but the reality doesn't match the imagination. I think it was a good practice because I had learned a lot from this artwork.

Twilight Enchantment

This artwork is meant to create a beautiful and somewhat romantic sunset. The media for this artwork is watercolor and some acrylics. Overall I think it turns out satisfying. After a while, looking at it now, I could improve it a lot, but I am going to keep it as it is now.
